Nothing is easier than learning to ski in Gourette. The resort has one of the largest areas for beginners in the Pyrenees. Find our team of animators in the Discovery Area to enjoy nature workshops or games.

Bézou Beginner's Area is dedicated to the first slides on green slopes to learn in complete peace.

The Beginner Space PLUS allows natural progression by providing access to a maximum of blue runs.

Bézou Beginner Space

  • Access: from the resort by the Bézou cable car with the Beginners package.
  • Adapted ski lifts: 2 covered conveyor belts, a chairlift, the Bézou gondola.
  • Mountain restaurant THE CAIRN with panoramic terrace for a gourmet break.

Beginner Plus Area

  • Access: from the bottom of the resort by the Cotch gondola or from the Bézou beginners’ area.
  • Ski lifts: Cotch gondola, the Bosses chairlift in addition to the Espace Débutant Bézou lifts.
  • High altitude snack, THE SNOWKFE, fast food to fully enjoy your day of skiing.

  • Nature and winter : Under the snow nature adapts. Reading the landscape, traces and clues, life continues above and below the snow.
  • The secrets of snow : What is snow? How is it formed? The metamorphosis of a drop of water into a crystal, avalanches, the snow cover… 
  • Escape Game Snow Groomer : Help the driver retrieve the snow groomer key. Find clues on the snow groomer on site.
  • Avalanche Escape Game : Fun and educational, the avalanche escape game helps raise awareness about the subject of safety in the mountains in winter.
