Article 1 – Organization

The snow mountain biking competition is organized by EPSA, in collaboration with the association The Lobot,  25th January 2026 at the station of gourmet.

Article 2 - Conditions of participation

  • The competition is open to participants aged 18 years minimum
  • Every competitor taking part in this competition is presumed to be familiar with these rules. They agree to abide by all these provisions without reservation.
  • Each participant must be in good physical condition 

Article 3

3.1 – Authorized Equipment

  • Mountain bike (muscular or electric)
  • Knobby tires
  • Studded tires with a maximum stud diameter of 6 mm
  • Long rigid rear mudguard for bicycles with studded tires

3.2 – Mandatory Equipment

  • Full-face helmet required
  • Gloves required
  • Mandatory protective gear: knee pads, back protector
  • Equipment: long jerseys and full-coverage trousers

The organization reserves the right to refuse any participant whose equipment is not compliant.

Article 4 – Procedure

  • The race takes place in the form of timed downhill in two runs
  • The track is reserved exclusively for the event 
  • The ranking is based on the time achieved.
  • At the start of the race, each competitor's bike will be checked and must comply with the regulations.
  • An initial reconnaissance flight will take place early in the morning.

Article 5 – Security

  • Wearing a helmet is mandatory throughout the entire course.
  • Participants must comply with the safety instructions given by the organization.
  • Any dangerous or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in a disqualification.

Article 6 - Liability

  • Each participant takes part in the competition at their own risk.
  • The organization accepts no responsibility for loss or theft of equipment.
  • Civil liability insurance is mandatory to participate in the event.

Article 7 – Weather Conditions

  • The event may be modified, interrupted or cancelled in case of adverse or dangerous weather conditions.

Article 8 – Acceptance of the regulations

Registration for the competition implies thefull and complete acceptance of these regulations.

Register
