On January 25, 2026 , the Gourette resort will host a unique event in the Pyrenees: the Mountain Bike Trophy on Ice, a timed downhill mountain bike race on snow . Organized by EPSA , in collaboration with the La Lobot association , this event promises thrills, adrenaline, and a spectacular show in an exceptional mountain setting.

This is a first in the Pyrenees : a mountain bike downhill race on snow, specially designed for extreme sports enthusiasts and cycling aficionados. This trophy marks a new step in the diversification of winter activities offered in the resort.
Participants will take to a track entirely reserved for competition , guaranteeing safety, smooth running, and fairness among racers. The descent will be timed , testing technical skill, speed, and snow management.
