During the months of July and August, the Gourette resort offers a varied summer program around nature and the mountains.
Between environmental education, fun experiences et sensory immersion, the nature activities and entertainment in Gourette are designed for young and old, beginners or the curious. Whether you are with family, friends or alone, immerse yourself in a preserved natural world through supervised activities and activities to be experienced independently.
You can also enjoy the panoramic terrace of the High altitude snack Le Cairn time for a coffee or gourmet break.
Family & children's activities
Accompanied by Simon, our specialized facilitator, discover the secrets of mountain fauna, flora and ecosystems. Educational workshops, thematic walks, naturalist observations, each activity is an opportunity to experience the mountains with curiosity and pleasure.
Activities and Workshops
→ Marmot Observation– Duration 2 hours – Accompanied children from 7 years old A short walk to observe marmots up close through a telescope in their natural habitat. Between whistling, playing, and diving into their burrows, discover their secret lives.
→ Wellness Session– Duration 1h30 – Difficulty level: easy A gentle body awakening, combining breathing and stretching with a view of the peaks.
→ Wildlife workshop– Duration 2h00 – Difficulty level: easy In search of traces and clues of mountain animals.

Help Biscotte the marmot prepare for her hike by answering the riddles.

Nature walks
→ Memory of the Anglas minesand picnic by the water - Duration 4h30 – Difficulty level: easy – elevation gain + 100 m – 3 km (picnic not included) In the ancestral footsteps of the shepherds, a walk through pastures and remains of huts.

→Friends of the Pyrenees - Duration 2 h
Equipped with a map, find the spots to answer the riddles and a crossword hunt.
→Terra Aventura - Duration 2 h Geocaching Trail. A connected treasure hunt where you'll have to answer puzzles.
Practical information
Starting point
The meeting point for the entertainment is located in front of the High altitude snack Le Cairn on the Bézou plateau. You can get there on foot for the brave (250m elevation gain – around 1 hour) or take the Bézou cable car (see prices).
Prices and registrations
The entertainment and activities offered are free.
They last between 45 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes.

In case of bad weather, some events are postponed or cancelled (real-time information at the ticket office).
