Start date
From the Maison de Gourette, in the heart of the resort, take the pedestrian path that goes up towards the Proxi store. Continue the climb on your left through the residences following the blue railings. Then take, on your right, the pedestrian path materialized by wooden barriers which crosses the Belambra holiday club to reach the car park (follow the red and white markings). From the parking lot, take the stairs that go up towards the wooden chalets, leaving behind you the reception of the holiday club. Continue the climb following the winding path. You arrive at the foot of the Water Tower. Continue until you reach the crossroads then take the track on your right.

Climb on the balconies
You are on the balconies of Gourette. Admire the view while progressing on the main path presenting no difficulty. From the balconies you can admire the resort of Gourette and its emblematic peaks: the Pic du Sanctus, the Pene Sarriere or the Pic de Ger. You follow the red and white markup for a while then at the intersection leave this markup on your left and continue on the main track. Please note: do not follow the GR10 towards the Col de Tortes on the left towards the forest (hiking with a steep drop). The trail continues on the main track. The path leads you on a short part in the undergrowth before beginning the descent towards the station.

Back
Begin the descent on the path towards the parking lot of the Cardet holiday centre. From there you can admire the Vallon du Valentin which opens up in front of you. You will find the departure of the big zip line of Gourette. The path leads you to the car park of the Le Cardet holiday centre. From there you can, by following the road, return to the start in the heart of the resort and the Maison de Gourette. You can, from the Cardet car park, continue on the Parcours Sportif walk by taking the path that goes down towards the tennis courts (red and white mark of the GR10 in the direction of Lac d'Anglas. At the tennis courts take the path which appears on your right in the direction of the small bridge which crosses over the Le Valentin stream.This path will take you in thirty minutes to the foot of the slopes then to the center of the resort (place Sarriere).
