A spectacular hike to discover a string of turquoise lakes nestled in the heart of a high mountain landscape. This summer, Gourette offers a unique experience to discover the mountains in a different way. From July 16th to August 20th, the Plaa Ségouné chairlift will be exceptionally open every Thursday , giving you easy access to one of the most beautiful natural sites in the area: the Plaa Ségouné lakes, nestled at an altitude of over 2,250 meters.
Thanks to this exceptional opening, the high mountains are now accessible to everyone. Once you reach the top of the chairlift, it's just a 30-minute walk and a 130-meter elevation gain to reach the lakes. A reasonable effort, amply rewarded by the beauty of the landscapes that await you.
Along the trail, panoramic views open up to the Pyrenean peaks before revealing the Plaa Ségouné lakes. In this unspoiled setting, everyone can enjoy a special moment: observing nature, taking the time to contemplate the landscapes, sharing a picnic by the water, or simply savoring the tranquility of the high mountains.
