INTRODUCTION TO THE SPORT

Eaux-Bonnes Gourette offers sites (blocks and rocks) and discovery trails to familiarise yourself with hanging in space, learning all about climbing, gaining independence and confidence in the mountains or trying other activities such as canyoning.

For hardier souls, the « Via Ferrata » is a hanging way fitted with ladders and protected by cables, enabling daring hikers to discover the vertiginous world of climbing a rock face, offering thrills similar to those found in rock-climbing.The cliff, facing west/north-west, looks out over the gorges of the Valentin river.
Passage on the Singe bridge (remember to take a harness, helmet and a double lanyard)
• 1 to 3 hours of thrills and a drop of 150 m
• Possibility of following the climb of experienced ferratists
• Accompaniment by the guides of the Ossau Valley
